The fungi absorb nutrients and energy from the surface that it is on. Fungi can be good and bad. The mushrooms can be used in foods. Also, docters can use to figure out cures for diseases. The fungi can also break down dead material. But some bad things are that they can also cause diseases. Ringworm is one example of a disease. Fungi can also spoil food and cause harm and disease to humans and animals.
